Cycylr Privacy Policy

In short: your cycle, symptom, pregnancy, pill and diary data stays on your phone. Cycylr has no account, does not upload your health data to any server, and does not sell or share it.

Data you enter

Period dates, cycle and period length, daily logs (flow, mood, symptoms, energy, sleep, sexual activity, temperature), diary notes, pregnancy tracking, pill schedule and self-care goals. This data is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. We (the developer) never receive it.

Backups

Backup file: if you choose "Backup" in the app, a file is saved where you pick (for example your phone or your own cloud drive). You control that file.
Android backup: if Android backup is enabled on your phone, Android may include the app's data in your Google account backup, encrypted by Google. You can turn this off in your phone settings. The app-lock PIN is excluded.
Doctor report: created only when you ask, through Android's print dialog.

Advertising

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address and app usage information to show and measure ads, as described in Google's policy. Your health data is never shared with ad networks. In the EEA, UK and other regions where required, the app asks for your consent before ads are personalised, and you can change your choice any time in Me → Privacy options.

Permissions

Notifications: to send reminders you turn on.
Run at startup: to restore your reminders after the phone restarts.
Biometric: optional fingerprint/face unlock for the app lock. Biometric data never leaves your device and is handled by Android.
Internet: used by the ad SDK only.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app deletes all its data from your phone. You can also clear it in Android Settings → Apps → Cycylr → Storage → Clear data. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing to delete on our side.

Children

Cycylr is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13.
